Columbia Housing's CEO Appointed to Affordable Housing Leadership Roles

Columbia Housing's Chief Executive Officer, Ivory N. Mathews elected as CCHRCO's President-Elect and appointed as Legislative Committee Chair for SERC-NAHRO

Columbia Housing's Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Ivory N. Mathews was elected as President-Elect for 2021-2022 by the Carolina's Council of Housing, Redevelopment and Codes Officials (CCHRCO) in August of 2021 at its annual membership Board Meeting. CCHRCO is a membership organization consisting of housing authorities and community development entities from the states of North Carolina and South Carolina. 

In October of 2021, Mrs. Mathews was appointed to Chair the Legislative Committee of the Southeastern Regional Council of the National Association of Housing & Redevelopment Officials (SERC-NAHRO) for 2021 - 2023. SERC-NAHRO is a membership organization consisting of housing authorities and community development entities from the states of Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, North Carolina, Mississippi, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, and South Carolina. 

In both roles, Mrs. Mathews will continue working alongside Housing and Community Development colleagues for the advancement of equitable affordable housing solutions through legislative advocacy, professional development, and the advancement of diversity, equity, and inclusion in both trade organizations.
