The mid-term election is upon us and as always we want to make sure our residents, staff and partners have the most accurate information regarding the election process. Please find links, tips and voting information below to make the most of your voting experience. Remember that voting is the best way to make your voice heard and that every vote counts in our democracy.

YOU MUST HAVE A VALID PHOTO ID TO VOTE - See below for acceptable forms of ID:
- SC Driver's License
- SC Identification Card
- SC Concealed Weapons Permit
- Federal Military Identification
- U.S. Passport
- SC Voter's Registration Card (with photo)
EARLY VOTING - IN PERSON:
- You may vote early in-person from October 24 - November 5, 2022.
- Early voting hours are Monday - Saturday 8:30 am - 6:00 pm.
- Use the link at the left to find your early voting site.
- You must have a valid photo ID to vote.
VOTE IN PERSON ON ELECTION DAY:
- Tuesday, November 8, 2022.
- Polls open 7:00 am until 7:00 pm.
- You must have a valid photo ID to vote.
- You may vote if you are in line when the polls close.
TRANSPORTATION:
The Central Midlands Regional Transit Authority (The COMET) is offering free rides to voters. Older adults and those with disabilities may also call 803-255-7123 for DART services.
